Banana Vitamina

(From A Taste of Culture: Foods of Brazil, published by KidHaven Press)

Vitaminas are fruit juices made with milk. A cup of any type of fresh or frozen fruit can be used or combined. You can use whole, low-fat, nonfat or soy milk.

Ingredients

  1. 1 banana, peeled, cut into four pieces, frozen
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 1 tablespoon honey
  4. 2 tablespoons orange juice

Instructions

  1. Put the ingredients in a blender and blend until it forms a smooth liquid.
  2. Pour into glasses and add ice cubes to taste.
