"I just had to write and tell you how much I ADORE the [Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center] database. Our science teacher came in yesterday and said, 'Oh, I forgot to tell you. My Honors Biology class just started a research project today on genetic engineering.' They have to write pro/con editorials. I have, like, four books on that!
So I started digging through the database last night, and it was immediately apparent that it's head and heels better than the SIRS or Facts on File equivalent. Aside from the viewpoints, the plethora of articles from both magazines and academic journals is astounding. In fact, when I was telling the ProQuest rep why I decided to go with Gale rather than PQ, I mentioned that Gale had articles from academic journals, and she was really surprised. Well done, Gale!"
